HOUSING DEVELOPMENT SIGNS AND
PRESENTATION FOLDERS (FEBRUARY 2012)
Large scale housing or land development signs are made with specially treated plywood called crezon. It is perfect for adhering vinyl to and will give the sign a life expectancy upwards of 5 years.
They are first printed onto an adhesive vinyl using our wide format, eight-colour printer and then covered with a matte laminate. The lamination is used as a protective shield against UV rays preventing the images and colours from fading away. We then mount the vinyl straight onto the plywood boards and transported them to the sites where the signs are then assembled and erected.
The images below show a couple such signs that Westwood Printing printed and fabricated.
"FRANCIS GATE"
"THE RESIDENCES"
In conjunction with the housing development signs, Westwood Printing was also asked to design and print some custom presentation folders as an extra marketing tool for the “Francis Gate” and “The Residences” developments.
These particular presentation folders are 26.25 inches wide and 11.5 inches high and printed on both sides. The folders also have a built in pocket in the inside for convenient storage of files and document.
BRITISH COLUMBIA CHEFS’ ASSOCIATION (FEBRUARY 2012)
There are two banner stands we printed for marketing and advertising purposes for an up and coming Presidents’ Ball.
City Landscapes (August 2011)
This is a line of cityscapes consisting of New York, Vancouver and Monte Carlo.
They were printed on artist canvas and then mounted onto wooden frames for display purposes. The artist canvas has a really nice texture giving the appearance of a hand painted image but with more detail due to the printing process.
The frames are made of solid but light wood and guaranteed to last the life of the picture. The frame sides come in lengths of 16, 20 and 24 inches and can be constructed to the size that best fits the image. For extra stability the corners are both glued and stapled.
Vinyl Truck Sign (May 2011)
This is a vinyl cut sign we were asked to make and mount by a local car dealership. It was a tricky process with the door, door hinges and lock bar in the way.
